Dr Ntswaki B. Masithela is a born again Christian who is passionate about people development. She is a development practitioner and a certified Life and Business Coach. Her educational background is in the field of education with emphasis on Educational Psychology and she then ventured into the development and project management space. She received her junior degree at the now University of Johannesburg (Soweto Campus) in 1998; she then proceeded to Wits University to study for her Honors and Masters Degrees. In 1996 she received a Fulbright scholarship to study for her Doctoral Degree in Education, specializing in Educational Psychology, at Northern Illinois University in the USA; she completed it in December 2000.
Her professional career started in 1994 as a Junior Lecturer at Vista University (University of Johannesburg – Soweto) and then at Wits University. During her doctoral studies she developed a passion for youth development and has worked in the development sector for over 13 years. She is a firm believer in education and life-long learning.
Through her company called Spiral Up Coaching she conducts group and one on one coaching sessions that help people to maximize their potential and attain success in life. She is a mother of two wonderful daughters, Nondumiso and Thato. She sadly lost her husband to colon cancer in 2007. She is self-driven and has a passion for life. She launched her first book titled “Spiral up and fulfil your God-given destiny” in November 2013. She sees herself as a friendly, hardworking individual who strives to accomplish high levels of excellence in all the work she undertakes.
